The Osoyoos Indian Band (OIB) is a First Nation community in British Columbia, Canada. The OIB is part of the Okanagan Nation Alliance, a group of eight Syilx-speaking bands that share a common culture and history. The OIB has about 540 members, of whom about half live on one of the four reserves that make up the OIB's traditional territory. The OIB is known for its economic development initiatives, such as the Nk'Mip Desert Cultural Centre, the Spirit Ridge Resort, and the Nk'Mip Cellars winery. The OIB also strives to preserve and promote its language, culture, and environment for future generations.
