How to buy tax-exempt gas in Manitoba
In Manitoba on-reserve purchases of gas and tobacco products are tax-exempt when a valid Certificate of Indian Status (status card) is presented at the time of purchase. On-reserve retailers will still pay taxes on their own purchases but they will receive a refund after submitting to Manitoba Finance.
