Grey Cup excitement in Regina this weekend
Are you hitting the road and heading to the Grey Cup this weekend? I know I am, this will actually be my first time at the Grey Cup, and I'm looking forward to the experience. The Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers are going to be going head to head on Nov. 20th, at 5pm at Mosaic Stadium in Regina. Even though the Roughriders won't be there this year, Regina and Mosaic stadium are still the place to be this weekend and I'm sure plenty of folks will still be wearing green! There are a huge number of events, starting as early as Thursday Nov. 17th. (https://www.greycupfestival.ca/) So even if you weren't able to get tickets, there is still plenty to do, see, and experience. If you are still looking for tickets, I have seen quite a few listed on Facebook marketplace, etc. I'm guessing some Roughrider fans aren't too excited about watching the Bombers try to win the Grey Cup!
Finding First Nations gas stations on the way
Like every game at Mosaic, there will be a ton of people on the road, and with the Bombers playing more then usual will be coming from Manitoba to catch the game. If you're going to be on the road this weekend, make sure to check out our list of First Nations gas stations near Mosaic Stadium.
Cree Land Mini Mart is only 1.5km away from Mosaic Stadium and offers full-service during the day, 24 hour service, and tax-exempt tobacco and fuel purchases with a status card. Saulteaux Crossing Convenience Store and Cowessess Gas are both a bit further from the stadium but might be convenient depending on what direction you are entering and leaving the city. You can also use our search tool to find stations near you on on the rest of your drive.
